How to use the disposable laparoscopic insufflation tubing set ?

1. Ensure that the length of the tubing set is appropriate for the patient's body size and surgical site.

2. Open the sterile packaging and inspect the tubing set for any defects or damages.

3. Connect the tubing set to the insufflator machine via the Luer lock connector.

4. Connect the Veress needle or trocar to the other end of the tubing set.

5. Adjust the insufflator machine to the desired pressure and flow rate.

6. Insert the Veress needle or trocar into the surgical site and begin insufflation to create pneumoperitoneum.

7. Monitor the patient's vital signs and adjust the insufflation as necessary throughout the procedure.

8. Once the procedure is complete, turn off the insufflation and remove the Veress needle or trocar.

9. Disconnect the tubing set from the insufflator and dispose of it according to proper medical waste management protocols.
